The Galway Races has always been about more than the racing - it's one of those weeks where clients, partners, colleagues and friends from across the business come together, catch up and build relationships that often continue long after the final race.

A huge congratulations to seven members of our team who recently took on the Macmillan Mighty Hike – Giant's Causeway. Tackling the spectacular but challenging coastal route, they pushed themselves every step of the way in support of people living with cancer.

We're incredibly proud to share that together, they raised £12,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated and supported the team throughout this challenge. We're so proud of their determination and commitment to such an important cause. 💚

Following our recent announcement of the latest additions to our Board of Directors, we're pleased to share some exciting leadership changes.

We're delighted to congratulate Karen Trainor on her promotion to Group Executive Director, recognising her outstanding contribution, leadership, and commitment to the continued success of the business.

We're also pleased to announce Coilin Campbell's appointment as Construction Sales Director, where he will continue to play a key role in driving growth within a key strategic area of the business and supporting our long-term growth ambitions.

These appointments reflect our continued investment in our people, our leadership team, and the future of Specialist Group. Congratulations to Karen and Coilin on their well-deserved achievements.

This month, we're proud to announce four well-earned promotions across the business, recognising the people whose leadership, knowledge and commitment continue to strengthen the business.

We're delighted to welcome Cathal O'Kane and Chris McKernan to the Board, following their promotions to Operations Director (Design & Project Management) and Commercial Director.

Alongside these appointments, we're also pleased to congratulate Dan McCrystal on his promotion to Design Director and Peter Kitterick on his promotion to Senior Project Manager.
