From surplus to sustainable ♻️

As part of our sustainability efforts, we repurposed surplus timber pallets into a series of durable wooden planters for Mossley Primary School, where they will be used in the school’s polytunnels to support hands-on learning in horticulture and environmental education.

This is a simple example of how reusing materials can help reduce waste while creating a lasting benefit for the local community.

Our Social Value Manager, Jennifer Cruickshank, attended the Future East: Achieving Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Conference hosted by Eastside Partnership in Belfast.

The event brought together representatives from government, business and community organisations to discuss sustainable growth, community wealth building and tackling inequalities.

As part of our ongoing partnership with Eastside Partnership through the Queen's University Belfast Momentum One Zero project, it was a valuable opportunity to learn and strengthen connections with organisations making a positive impact across East Belfast.

A new £15m multi-purpose health centre, built by Henry Brothers, has officially celebrated its opening.

Attended by the Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire, patients, local representatives, NHS colleagues and project partners joined Elizabeth Fothergill CBE at Babington Health Centre to mark the competition of development.

The modern, purpose-built facility provides a wide range of healthcare services, including physiotherapy, community nursing, podiatry and outpatient clinics.
