A great day demonstrating at Skipton Sheep Day in the medieval crafts area.

Testing out blacksmith charcoal from helped with maintaining the forge whilst chatting to visitors, knowing that with a quick turn of the blower, the fire sprung straight back to life.

Thanks to for supplying the leather to make spark cuffs suitable for working over the charcoal, and also made a great handle wrap for the forging hammer making it comfortable and non-slip in the high temperatures over the past week!

The next few weeks have lots of events coming up, demonstrating at next weekend, then exhibiting at Art in the Dale , then the greatyorkshireshow, followed with and then malhamshow at the August bank holiday.
