Another day, another bike ride… we are starting to wonder if Davey is actually human at this point! 🚴‍♂️

After the incredible effort for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, Davey has decided he isn’t stopping there and is set to take on another challenge to raise funds for another of the wonderful air ambulance charities that we support here at Sloane Helicopters.

This time, on Tuesday 28th July, Davey will be taking on an epic 160+ mile ride at the TAAS North Base in Gamston, before cycling to the bases at Nottingham and Coventry and finally finishing at the South base in Oxford. The ride is expected to take around 12 hours, covering more than 160 miles.

This challenge is in support of The Air Ambulance Service’s Big Bases Appeal, which aims to raise £9 million to build two brand-new, purpose-built operational bases. These new facilities will help ensure the charity can continue providing lifesaving pre-hospital emergency care for years to come.

Whilst many of us have been switching off, emergency service teams have remained on duty throughout the weekend, working around the clock to keep communities safe - especially in the heat this weekend ☀️🥵

We’d like to thank all emergency services, and particularly the air ambulance teams, for their continued dedication and the lifesaving work they carry out every day.
