Looking for tutoring that actually understands your child?

At McScience, we do things differently.

Our friendly, experienced tutors provide personalised Science, Maths and English support designed around the individual student, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Whether your child needs to build confidence, catch up, prepare for GCSE exams or push for their next grade, we make learning clear, supportive and accessible.

Small groups or 1-to-1 sessions.
Experienced tutors.
SEND-friendly support.
Exam-focused learning.
A friendly environment where questions are encouraged.

Because tutoring should be about more than just getting the right answer. It should help students believe they can succeed.

This week at our forest school we started building our mud kitchen, we also did some physics getting children to balance on a beam and moving the pivot. We worked on our dens and got children learning how to use tools safely. As also we made some s’mores that went down well.
We adore supporting children with SEND needs and working with families from across the city.
We also have gluten free and vegan s’mores to make sure all we remain inclusive so all can have a great snack.
We love curiosity and creativity so book your space either by paying via zeffy or DM us and pay on arrival.

Yesterday at Green Equation Forest school we focused on how to use tools safely. We cleared an area and shovelled bark onto the floor so that we could build a den.
We try to make the children make the choice of how we do things. This encourages creativity and thinkers which our be curious ethos is all about. Book your spot in our future sessions!

So today and yesterday we were on Agaton street in Ernesettle, and we had responded to a social media post about a pavement that had been over grown for at least 5 years. When onsite we saw families, disabled and elderly walking the road whilst cars and lorry’s went by.
People in the local community stopped to say thank you, gave us drinks and helped out too.
We are here to support the community and help however we can. So please donate to our cause and if you can’t do share and follow us to show support for the work we do! Plymouth City Council

Another great forest school session today at Oak Reach, with friendships being made, children getting involved to develop the site, chatting with parents about how we work with and support their children’s SEND and of course s’more making.
If you have a child that would benefit from forest school get in touch we run sessions on Wednesday and Saturday. Payment via Zeffy or on arrival.

We're not just tutors. We care about the learner.
At McScience, we know that education is about more than grades.
It's about confidence.
It's about feeling safe enough to ask questions.
It's about knowing that getting something wrong isn't the end of the world.
It's about having someone say:
"Let's try it another way.”
Our team provides supportive, SEND-friendly tutoring across English, Maths and all three Sciences.
We can also offer daytime sessions for learners who find traditional school difficult.
All sessions are online and recorded for safeguarding and for further note-taking!
**1-to-1 tutoring: £25/hour**
**Group tutoring: £20/person**
If you're looking for tutors who genuinely want to help your child succeed,
