Four years ago, we decorated this commercial space — and now we're back! 🎨

This time, we're getting it freshened up and ready for a new tenant to move in.

🏡 EXTERIOR PAINT COMPLETE ✅

Another exterior transformation completed in just 2.5 days at Lucas Lane, Plympton — and what a difference! 🔥
With the property now ready to go on the market, the aim was to give the exterior a fresh, clean and durable finish while making sure the existing problem areas were properly dealt with rather than simply painted over.

🔨 Preparation.

We started by tackling the areas where the existing paint had flaked and the roughcast render had blown. These areas were thoroughly prepared before applying Zinsser Peel Stop to help stabilise the failing surface.
We then repaired the damaged areas using Toupret Masonry Filler, carefully stippling the finish to replicate the existing texture of the render and blend the repairs seamlessly into the surrounding areas.

🎨 Finishing system.

The main walls were finished in Sandtex Smooth Masonry – Plymouth Grey, giving the property a modern, clean appearance while providing a hard-wearing exterior finish.
The window sills and steps were finished in Albany Smooth Masonry – Black, adding a sharp contrast and really bringing the exterior together.
The result? 🤩
A completely refreshed exterior that's looking fresh, smart and market-ready — all completed in 2.5 days.

🏡 Furzehill Road Project – Underway! 🎨

We're excited to be bringing the hall, stairs and landing of this beautiful 1920s mid-terraced home back to life.

As with every project, preparation comes first. Before any decorating begins, we've carefully protected the original floorboards throughout the property to keep them safe during the works.

Now we're into the stage that makes all the difference—the prep. Every piece of woodwork, including the handrail, spindles, strings, skirting boards and door frames, is being thoroughly sanded and prepared. We'll also be reworking the walls, filling and refining every imperfection to ensure every surface is finished to the highest standard before the first coat of paint goes on.
It's the preparation that creates a premium finish, and these are the transformations we love being part of.

Today has been all about the preparation – because a quality finish always starts with the right groundwork. We've been carrying out all the necessary prep ready to transform the rest of the ground floor tomorrow.

Once that's complete, we'll be heading upstairs to tackle the two bedrooms and continue bringing this home back to life.

Another exterior transformation completed! 🏡✨

We've been making the most of the fantastic weather this week and have successfully completed another exterior decorating project!

This property on Ford Hill, Plymouth has been given a fresh new lease of life. As part of the preparation, we carefully ground out all stress cracks, carried out the necessary repairs, and filled them to help prevent water ingress and protect the property for years to come. Once all repairs were complete, the exterior received a full repaint, leaving it looking clean, fresh, and ready to withstand the elements.

This isn't the end of the project though—we'll be returning in a couple of weeks to transform the front elevation and complete the property's makeover. Keep an eye on our page for the final results! 👀

Another return visit to Hartley, where we've now completed the third bedroom in this lovely home. It's always a pleasure to be asked back by returning customers—it speaks volumes about the trust they place in our work.

For this room, the walls were finished in Johnstone's Covaplus, colour matched to Farrow & Ball's Elephant's Breath, creating a timeless and elegant look. The ceiling was painted in Crown Extra Matt White, with the woodwork finished in Dulux Satinwood for a crisp, durable finish.
