A Grade II listed thatched barn in the Pewsey Vale, carefully demolished to ground level and completely rebuilt. Every historical principal timber was set aside, repaired and reused within the new frame.
The barn was rebuilt on a new substructure with as much respect to the original as possible, including an extended zinc-clad stoop creating a contemporary garden room facing the setting sun. Inside, polished concrete floors and full-height glazing bring it firmly into the 21st century.
Part of an extensive restoration of the adjoining Grade II listed Georgian manor house.
