First order of the new year completed -
12 off Iron Chrome multi-leg tape/strip elements.
Forming a circle in the roof, these elements will be fitted into a 280kw Rotary Hearth Furnace used in the Airospace Industry.

Here at Elementation we not only offer new products for all your industrial element needs we also offer a bespoke refurbishment service of existing element/heating units.
This week we finished off refurbishing a 80kw Porcupine heater unit for a regular client.
This one arrived in very poor condition and was firstly stripped down to its basic frame, cleaned, welded and straightened.
With the addition of new elements, ceramics, terminals and insulated support & cover boards the unit was again brought back into use and good to go.

A few samples off to a customer today.
Cast 'Ladder' elements allowing free radiation of the elements that are hung and supported on ceramic support tubes cast into the end blocks - with the elements retained to the block by means of our unique retaining clip system which are also cast into the block and reduce element creep.
These can be made bespoke to fit your furnace and used in roof, Hearth and sidewalls.

Probably the largest rated Porcupine Air heater we have manufactured to date.
A total of 45 individual elements are suspended throughout this heater in 3 independent phases.
When installed it forms part of a project for Highways England in their undertaking to implement electric car recharging points on all motorways throughout the country.
