Did you know that commercial shipping is one of the main contributors to underwater radiated noise? 🚢

In our recent blog, we covered the impact this can have on marine life, and how our anti-vibration mounts have been designed to reduce underwater radiated noise from vessels, protecting marine ecosystems and wildlife from disruption.

By significantly reducing structure-borne noise and vibration transmitted from ship machinery, such as engines, generators, and pumps, into the vessel’s hull and subsequently the water, our mounts help minimise noise pollution, which is crucial for protecting marine ecosystems.

Meet our Production Manager, Scott!🙌

Scott has been part of the Christie & Grey team for 4 years now, where he keeps production running as smoothly as possible. From making sure jobs go out on time to supporting the team and ensuring any issues are sorted quickly, his role is a mix of planning, firefighting, and getting stuck in on the shop floor when needed.

And when he’s not working, Scott enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family ⛳

“I enjoy the variety of the role—no two days are the same. It’s a good team at C&G, and I like being able to get stuck in and make a difference to how things run.”
