Industrial Door Planner / Service Coordinator
Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with our engineers and customers to organise and schedule service and installation work
• Plan and allocate daily work for engineers attending customer sites.
• Coordinate emergency call-outs and responsive maintenance work.
• Book and organise transport and delivery of parts and equipment to job locations.
• Liaise with customers by telephone to confirm appointments, provide updates, and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Use of our internal CRM system to manage job scheduling and track engineer activity.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs, schedules, and customer information.
• Work closely with internal departments such as service, logistics and management to ensure smooth operation.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritising urgent work and maintaining efficient job planning.
Skills & Requirements:
• Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers on the telephone.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with engineers and internal teams.
• Experience with scheduling or planning is beneficial but not essential.
