Full Rear end restoration on this wide body Z3, such a lovely car!

Need a rear end refreshed to the same standard?

The Z3's have a factory defect where the rear differential mount is spot welded to a cross member in the chassis rails, they slowly pop the spot welds from the rail and the boot floor, so the only way to fix it properly is brace the whole area with thicker metal and fabricate a new heavy duty mount! Plug weld through the boot floor with a connecting plate from each main chassis rail.

Hood frame made up copying an original hoop, bend radii are not the same but the fabric still fit the same! Shame I didn't get a picture of it installed!

3-Inch system with a remote valve in each side, came up with the tip design to help flow with the rest of the car, come out just tucked in front of the rear tire where there is a partial stick out!
