Another project completed by Ellison Construction 👷‍♂️🏗️

Working alongside the modular building provider, our team delivered the full groundworks and external works package for a new additional classroom building, constructed to the east of the existing school.

Our works included reduced level excavation to provide level access, designed and installed foundations, a new drainage system, water supply and chlorination, new electrical supply, hard landscaping and fencing.

A great transformation from the initial groundworks through to the completed external works, ready for the new classroom to be put to use.

A great before & after transformation from our team at Ellison Construction 👏

We recently completed the groundworks and external works package for the new temporary Science Block at Leeds Trinity University.

Our works included foundations, drainage, mains water, electrical & data ducting, specialist Vulcathene waste pipework, access ramps and pathways, AC and gas storage bases, fencing and associated external works.

📅 Site start: 8 July 2026
✅ Handover: 28 August 2026
⏱️ Delivered on programme

Back in November, we shared an update on our ongoing project with Actiform Ltd, delivering the groundworks package for another modular healthcare facility in Bridgwater.

The project presented several challenges from the outset. The site was located within a flood plain and comprised very poor ground conditions, requiring a piled foundation solution. In addition, levels across the entire one acre site had to be raised by almost one metre to achieve the required formation levels.

We're pleased to say the project has now been completed on programme, transforming what was previously an untouched field into an impressive new healthcare facility.

The timelapse video below captures the entire six month construction process in just a couple of minutes, a fantastic demonstration of the planning, coordination and hard work involved in bringing the project to life.
