We are approaching the finish line at Star College, with the car park being prepared ready for the next cohort of students in September.

Using Bodpave 85 with contrasting gravel colours is a great way to combine durability, effective drainage, and clear visual zoning for parking bays or walkways without needing painted lines.

Kudos to team Walsh for keeping a clean site—a well-organized workspace makes a huge difference in the final quality of the installation.

Walsh started work at Croome Court on behalf of the National Trust at the start of June. The scheme comprises of the following:

234 much needed all weather permeable car parking spaces

Coach parking

Construction of a new visitors reception

Associated land drainage and attenuation ponds

General civils

Hard surfacing

Work at Malvern Theatre is progressing well. The pictures below show the rebar, insulation, and waterproofing that have recently been installed, marking another important milestone in the project.

Work continues on the construction of a new car park at Star College in Cheltenham, with excellent progress being made by the site team. Despite the recent heatwaves, the project remains on schedule and within budget—a great achievement by everyone involved.
The new car park is being constructed using BodPave85, with stone quarried from Breedon Leinthall and supplied by Simson Aggregates. We look forward to seeing the project take shape over the coming weeks.

At the beginning of June, Walsh Construction commenced work at Star College in Ullenwood, Gloucestershire. Appointed as the main contractor, Walsh will deliver a new car park to provide much-needed additional space for both visitors and students.
