Proud to partner with Christchurch City Mission on this initiative. ⚡

11,000 LED bulbs have been delivered to help Christchurch households reduce energy use and lower power bills.

The bulbs are expected to save around $178,000 in electricity costs every year, close to $2 million over their lifetime, while also offsetting one year of ILS CO2 emissions.

A great example of what strong partnerships and practical community support can achieve. 👏

Congratulations to our 2025 qualified graduates. ⚡👏

Finally managed to get them all into the office for a photo.

Several of our team officially completed qualifications across Level 4 Cable Jointing, Level 4 Distribution Line Mechanic and Level 5 Live Line.

A big achievement that reflects years of hard work, on-site learning and commitment to the trade.

Backing and developing our people is a big part of who we are at ILS and it’s great to see the next generation continuing to grow within the business.

No, it’s ILS working live 11kV lines under a flight path. ⚡✈️

Out on Buchanans Road in Christchurch, the team carried out a live line cut and reconnect to make space for new transmission lines.

Planes overhead, live lines below… just another day on the tools. 👊
