Meet the YB Team – Corey-Jay

Corey-Jay has called Mangawhai home for the past 17 years and recently started his building apprenticeship after spending years labouring alongside his dad and his company.

He enjoys the challenge and constant learning that comes with building, along with the strong crew environment on site.

Seeing progress each day and being part of creating something from the ground up is what drives him.

Outside of work, he’s into rugby, fishing, DJing, and spending time with his mates, family, and girlfriend.

Meet the YB Team – Cameron 🔨

Cameron got into building in 2021 after helping a mate put up a garage — two months later he’d left his job and hasn’t looked back since.

With a strong interest in working outdoors, from gardening to landscaping, the building trade was a natural fit.

He enjoys seeing projects come together on site and takes pride in the work put in each day — being able to step back and see the progress is what drives him.
