At TPS, we price all our projects in-house 🏠

Our pricing is built from the knowledge and real costs we’ve gathered through previous builds. From all completed projects, we continually review information, update our rates and refine our pricing to make our estimates as accurate as possible.

For larger projects, we add another layer of assurance, engaging an independent Quantity Surveyor (QS) to price the project separately, then compare their figures against ours.

The purpose isn’t to make the two estimates match exactly. It’s to make sure our overall pricing is in the right ballpark and that the rates we’re using are consistent with current industry standards.

It’s a simple extra check that gives us greater confidence in the numbers and gives our clients greater transparency around one of the biggest parts of their build.

Where is he now... Damian edition 👷🏽

Since joining TPS in 2024, Damian has come a long way. His skillset has grown massively and he’s on track to complete his building apprenticeship early next year. Damian's also a qualified scaffolder, which means he takes care of majority of our scaffolding across projects.

Most importantly, Damian always turns up to site with a smile on his face and effortlessly keeps the mood high on site!

Plenty of progress on site since we first introduced this Tairua off-grid renovation and extension.

The roof is now on, structural steel and framing are complete, and cladding has started across both the existing dwelling and new extension. Inside, we’re getting ready for insulation and interior linings.

More updates to come as we move into the next stage of the build.

We're excited to kick off another renovation in Whangamatā.

This project includes:
✔️ Master bedroom extension
✔️ New ensuite & walk-in wardrobe
✔️ Larger main bathroom
✔️ Brand new kitchen
✔️ Interior renovations including new flooring and linings
