New vs. reclaimed white knit — which should you stock?

Reclaimed white knit is the workhorse: recycled T-shirt material, lowest cost per pound, great for general shop wiping where the rag just needs to absorb and go. But when the job demands a cleaner, more consistent wipe — paint prep, final equipment wipe-downs, or anywhere lint and surprises matter — new white knit earns its keep. Cut from new T-shirt and polo mill ends, ~14"x14" minimum cut, medium-heavy with high absorbency.

Packaging is the other choice: polybags (8lb x108 or 20lb x48 per pallet) keep rags clean and easy to grab off the shelf; compressed boxes (8lb x72 or 20lb x32) stack tighter in the warehouse.

What is it? A newly manufactured — not reclaimed — white terry cloth bar towel in a durable cotton blend, cut to a consistent ~14" x 16" with hemmed edges.
