Maj’s Services was founded by Chris Maj, to provide the highest quality soil erosion management and silt fence installation. Chris has been in the construction industry for over 16 years and has worked in virtually all aspects of construction. A native of Howell, Michigan, Chris has brought the company from a staff of two to more than a dozen. Equipment began with one bobcat and one dump truck and

has blossomed to 2 Bobcat Skid Steer, 7 trenching machines, 4 rock saw frost cutting wheels, 2 Tractors, 4 all terrain zero turn mowers for maintaining vacant lots and a fleet of seven trucks. All aspects of the operation are personally supervised by Chris Maj, who maintains a close personal relationship with all project managers.

With the quick storms coming through just a reminder .....Silt sacks (or catch basin inserts) require routine inspections, sediment removal, and structural checks to function properly. Standard maintenance dictates emptying the sack when it is roughly 50% full (or when the restraint cord is no longer visible). Failure to clean it will cause stormwater ponding.
