Inventopia is turning its engineering center into a makerspace! As a preview for the community we are hosting a holiday gift workshop where you can build an edge-lit acrylic display with YOUR design on it... you will use the CNC machines, the laser cutter, and you will do all of the assembly and soldering

Tickets are very limited, two dates with two sessions each. Spots are free but donations are accepted if you feel in the spirit.

If we sell out and you are bummed you didnt get to to it, we might set up another date if there is interest. so please reach out in that case.

We are also looking for more volunteers to help manage this creative space and put on fun events like this reach out to [email protected] in either case!

Inventopia sponsors engineering student clubs from UC Davis & Sac State. Weird thing for a business incubator to do? - Not at all!

These students are the best in our region and they are HUNGRY for hands on experience. The startups here at inventopia NEED access to this kind of talent, and because we sponsor these teams, they can find that talent naturally by working alongside them in our labs.

The students get more access to hands-on learning opportunities, and the startups get access to these talented students... WIN - WIN.

Inventopia is Davis' only independent business incubaor. We serve resource-intensive startup companies who need to develop their technologies through lab work and prototyping. We have just leased more space in Davis and are kicking off an initiative to create a hub for "tough tech" companies to find their footing and thrive in Davis CA.

Inventopia is assembling a print farm for COVID-19 manufacturing response. If you have a 3D printer you can lend us for the next few months, it will help us get needed supplies to local medical first responders. We are also seeking donations of filament and or cash to help with supplies.
