The Chicago office opened in 2003 to service the Chicagoland area and national accounts is comprised of three operational divisions: Build-to-Suit/National Accounts, Process, and Interiors; each serving a variety of industry types. Our comprehensive design/build approach allows customers to have a direct relationship with one company instead of dealing with a number of different consulting and man

agement organizations. This single point of contact during a project allows for clear lines of communication and responsibility resulting in significant time and cost savings. Our commitment to our associates and customers alike contributes greatly to our success. Due to our “customer first” philosophy, approximately 75% of our annual revenue is with repeat customers. We also understand that a quality job starts with quality people. That is why every one of our Project Managers has an engineering or construction degree and our Superintendents possess a wealth of experience and knowledge. We strive diligently to find the best associates for all positions, and then provide extensive training, arming our associates with relevant information in leadership, technical issues, safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Back for round two, the Dallas team took on this year’s CANstruction theme, “League of UnCANny Villains”, with “Pirates of the Can-ibbean: Dead Cans Tell No Tales.” Our pirate ship was built from 2,964 cans and additional food items. All of the food items used will be donated to families in need through the North Texas Food Bank.

Kyle Commerce Center has officially broken ground in Kyle, Texas! Our team is proud to partner with Balcones Real Estate Group on this 328,251 SF Class A shallow-bay industrial park.

The four-building development will deliver (30) move-in-ready office and warehouse suites designed to support a wide range of end users. With suite options from approximately 4,500 SF to 20,800 SF, the park is positioned to meet the needs of growing businesses across Hays County.

The concrete tilt-wall project will feature 28' clear heights, speculative office space, and R-25 roof insulation. Buildings will include dock-high and grade level loading access. Delivered through a full design-build approach, the project also includes construction of a new public road to improve access to the site.

One year after opening its doors in River North, this is a well-deserved recognition of the team behind the venue. From early planning through construction, Electric Shuffle and ARCO/Murray worked closely to realize the venue’s vision within a complex mixed-use building and active River North streetscape. We’re proud to have partnered with Electric Shuffle to deliver this technology-driven concept. Chicago marks the third Electric Shuffle venue completed with ARCO/Murray.

Hard hats were on and curiosity was in the air as campers got an inside look at the construction industry. Along the way, they met industry professionals, tried new experiences, and saw how their own ideas and leadership can help shape what comes next.

Another industrial transformation is officially in the books!

In partnership with Portal Warehousing, we recently completed a 70,000 SF build-out in the Raleigh, NC area, transforming an existing industrial warehouse into a flexible shell warehousing and co-warehousing facility. The project included office and warehouse space, upgraded MEP systems, new dock positions, overhead door cut-ins, and modular partitions with built-in electrical.

By adding flexible warehousing capacity and improved loading infrastructure to the Raleigh-area market, the project can help businesses store, receive, and move goods more efficiently.

Our Austin team recently completed a build-to-suit office expansion for KOMPAN 's Texas headquarters, delivering a polished new workplace connected to the company’s existing facility in Austin, Texas.

The expansion includes open office areas, private offices, conference rooms, a large training and dining room sized for the entire staff, a serving & prep kitchen, breakroom, and restrooms. The space was designed to create a functional and welcoming environment for Kompan’s growing team.

Elevated features throughout the project include interior glass partitions with specialty Kompan logo frosting, converted dock doors reimagined as new storefront glass windows and an insulated glass overhead door, specialty custom wood parquet flooring, LED linear lighting, and three new skylights cut into the existing roof. Acoustic baffles and sound masking systems were also integrated throughout the new and existing office areas.

We’re grateful for our collaboration with KOMPAN and proud to bring this headquarters expansion to life.

City Church Chicago is taking shape on the city's Near West Side as a 42,000 SF non-denominational church centered on community and connection.

Arman Hosseini, Senior Architectural Designer, shares, "It has been incredibly rewarding to contribute to a project that serves both the church and the community around it. At such a visible and important intersection, the design has the potential to create a welcoming new chapter for City Church Chicago while strengthening its connection to the broader community."

At the heart of the project is a 1,446-seat auditorium with dedicated production spaces for live programming and large-scale gatherings. The design also includes children’s environments, gathering spaces, and hospitality areas including a lounge and retail component that keeps the building active throughout the week.

We’re excited to see AM Design's vision come to life alongside ARCO/Murray’s design-build delivery to create a new home for City Church Chicago and its community.
