Progress continues on the I-69 ORX Section 3 project in Evansville as Traylor and joint venture partner Walsh advance toward substantial completion later this year, with the project now more than 75% complete. Crews continue major earthwork and bridge operations across the corridor, including ongoing deck pours on Bridge 3 and preparation for upcoming deck pours on Bridge 5. We’re proud of the team’s continued commitment to safety, quality, and schedule as this Indiana approach project moves toward completion.

The Juneau Creek Bridge team successfully completed the kingpost tripping operation last month, raising a 106-foot-tall tower weighing 190,000 pounds into position on the structure. The kingpost plays a critical role in maintaining the bridge's stiffness during its launch over the canyon, which is currently underway.

This milestone brings the team one step closer to delivering a safer, more efficient route through Cooper Landing and enhancing connectivity between Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula.

The Ellicott City North Tunnel project has officially assembled and is preparing to launch TBM “Rocky,” marking a significant step forward on Howard County’s largest public works project to date.

Leading up to launch, crews completed extensive flood mitigation work, including raising the site nearly 20 feet and rerouting a nearby stream to help protect the work zone and surrounding roadways from stormwater impacts. “Rocky” was then successfully lowered 150 feet down the main shaft as part of the assembly process.

Excitement continues to build as the project advances toward tunneling operations in support of long-term flood mitigation efforts for the Ellicott City community.

After more than a decade of planning and construction, Section 1 of the Los Angeles Metro D Line Subway Extension is officially open.

As part of the Skanska Traylor Shea JV, Traylor helped deliver nearly four miles of twin subway tunnels and three new underground stations beneath the Wilshire Corridor — one of the most densely developed areas in the city. Construction came with significant technical challenges, including difficult ground conditions, methane gas, and tunneling beneath active city streets and infrastructure.

This opening is a testament to the expertise and perseverance of every individual involved throughout the life of the project. Congratulations to our teams and partners on reaching this incredible milestone.
