Hot weather can sneak up on anyone working outdoors.
A few quick reminders from the Geiger Ready-Mix team:

💧 Water is your best tool - don't wait until you are thirsty to drink
🕶️ Protect your skin and eyes from direct sun - wear and reapply sunscreen and a brimmed hat
🌳 Take short cooling breaks when possible
🤝 Check on your coworkers throughout the day

If someone seems unusually tired, dizzy, or confused, don’t ignore it. Heat-related illness can become serious quickly.

Let’s look out for each other and make it home safe at the end of the day.

Our new Geiger Ready-Mix plant in De Soto is now operational and ready to serve customers.
This new location helps us deliver the quality, reliability, and responsiveness our customers count on, even faster across the region.

As we continue to remember Steve, we want to share ways for those who wish to honor his life and support his family.

Steve’s dedication, kindness, and the relationships he built throughout the years left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers, and all those whose lives he touched.

The Geiger Ready-Mix community has shown incredible support, kindness, and compassion over the past week, a true reflection of who we are.
