Our New Mexico team had a wonderful evening celebrating alongside so many talented teams at the AGC New Mexico Best Buildings Awards. We are incredibly honored that Calle Cuarta was recognized with the award for LEED Certifiable Project.

This project represents so much more than a building, it reflects the power of collaboration, perseverance, and a shared commitment to creating high-quality affordable housing that strengthens our communities.

From YES Housing, Inc. - New Mexico and Dekker, to our amazing subcontractors, and every individual who contributed along the way, this recognition belongs to all of you.

The ribbon has been cut!

This beautiful new community includes 144 units across six buildings and represents an important step forward in expanding quality affordable housing opportunities for families in southern New Mexico.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Las Cruces for supporting this meaningful project and helping bring this vision to life. A special shoutout to Natalie Green and her incredible team for their leadership, dedication, and partnership throughout this process.

We are also grateful for another great project supported by Izzy Hernandez and the team at Housing New Mexico, whose continued commitment helps make impactful developments like this possible. Thank you as well to Senator Nathan Small for your support and for being there today to celebrate this milestone with us.

Pavilion is proud to have partnered with Thomas Development Group and Perlman Architects to help deliver a community that will serve Las Cruces residents for years to come.

Projects like Peachtree Canyon are a true reflection of collaboration, community, and shared purpose. We are grateful to everyone who played a role in bringing this one across the finish line.

Pavilion Construction was incredibly honored to sponsor the 6th Annual Wise Pies Pizza Run benefiting the Make-A-Wish America Foundation and Girls on the Run, two organizations that continue to make a lasting impact on children, families, and communities.

Another affordable housing development financed by Housing New Mexico designed by and another quality project being built by Pavilion Construction, right here in New Mexico.

The Central Corridor is one of the Albuquerque area’s most in need of revitalization. San Mateo Manor 50-unit, 3-story project that officially broke ground this week. We are excited to see a long vacant and hazardous building come down and make way for brand new, high quality affordable housing for the community.

Big thanks to Spire Development for putting this project together and continuing to invest in New Mexico. Also, big shoutout to Guzman Construction Solutions for coming in strong, knocking out the demolition, and moving straight into the over excavation for the new structure in the first week on site.

Proud of the entire team making this happen. Go Team and go NM!

Zia Flats in Santa Fe, NM is moving right along! We are grateful to be a part of this amazing project for New Mexico. Zia Flats will bring 244 new housing units across 6 buildings in a great neighborhood and is another strong investment in the future of our NM communities. Since starting construction in late 2025, the project has already created more than 150 jobs for New Mexicans and will continue supporting local workers and businesses through completion in Spring 2027.

Projects like this are important for Santa Fe as the need for high quality housing continues to grow. Proud to be working alongside HEDK Architects and Aberg Property Company, with Peter Aberg and Christopher Ray continuing to invest in New Mexico through projects that create jobs, strengthen our economy, and bring long term value to our communities.

Big thanks to all our New Mexico based trade partners putting in the work every day to keep this project moving forward. Also, incredibly proud of the Pavilion Construction team members coordinating and orchestrating everything every day to make a project of this scale happen. Last week, members of our New Mexico team had the privilege of participating in a career fair at Chaparral Elementary School in Santa Fe.

With the help of our partners, we brought out an excavator to give students a real-world look at the construction process, an experience that sparked curiosity and excitement from the start. From spinning the prize wheel to learning about the safety gear we use on every jobsite, it was a day full of hands-on learning and great conversations.

We were especially impressed when one second grader confidently identified the equipment - proof that it’s never too early to start exploring future possibilities! In construction, there’s truly a place for everyone, and we’re proud to help inspire the next generation.

Every company has a starting point. Ours started long before the name Pavilion Construction. As we approach Pavilion Construction’s 20th Anniversary, we are reflecting on how it all began.

In 1998, Derek Mannelin and Brian Gerritz began working together with a shared vision, to deliver value-minded general contracting services focused on multi-family housing. What started as a partnership built on experience and trust quickly grew. Before long, the work had expanded into four western states and laid the groundwork for something bigger.

By 2007, that vision took shape as Pavilion Construction. With a deep understanding of the owner and builder environment, Derek and Brian set out to build more than just projects. They built a team, bringing together talented individuals with a unified approach to construction management and a commitment to doing the work the right way. That foundation still drives Pavilion today.
