Nothing beats learning from each other—and getting out on the jobsite!

Our interns recently visited Pence's Meadow Park Middle School and Sunset High School projects where the students working at each site presented what they learned this summer before leading their peers on a tour. Both schools were originally built around 1960, giving these young professionals-in-the-making a firsthand look at the complexities involved in renovating existing facilities.

We’re proud to provide opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world construction experience to help the next generation of builders learn from our teams in the field and office!

Over the holiday weekend, Pence hosted a booth at Redmond’s 250th Celebration for America’s birthday. We gladly sponsored this fun-filled, family-friendly event in Centennial Park, which had something for everyone, including food truck vendors, the local farmer’s market, live music, bouncy houses and more.

We’re grateful we had the opportunity to come together with others in our community to celebrate this amazing day. Thanks to the City of Redmond, Oregon for organizing it!

Congratulations to all recipients of the Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC) Oregon’s Top Projects Awards who were honored at last week’s event!

We’re thrilled to share that our Redmond Public Safety Facility project was recognized as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most outstanding construction jobs of the year. This two-story, 43,800-square-foot civic building was completed in July 2025 and serves as the Redmond Police Department’s headquarters.

Its success was driven by a highly collaborative partnership between the City of Redmond, Oregon, the Redmond Police Department - OR, the owner’s representative Cu***ng Group and FFA Architecture and Interiors, with strong engagement from key trade partners—including our cross-laminated timber supplier and installer, Carpentry Plus, Inc., which the DJC named subcontractor of the year.

Congrats again to our project partners and team on this amazing accomplishment!
