For years, SRC of Lexington and Komatsu North America have worked together as partners, building trust, quality, and shared values.
Today, we’re proud to share the next chapter of that relationship. SRC of Lexington is becoming Komatsu LRO (Lexington Remanufacturing Operation)—officially joining the Komatsu family.
While our name is changing, our people, our purpose, and our commitment to remanufacturing exceptional products remain the same. The same team. The same dedication. The same pride in the work we do every day.
Change can bring uncertainty, and we deeply respect the history, culture, and people who built SRC of Lexington into what it is today. At the same time, we’re excited for the opportunity to grow under the Komatsu flag and to be part of a globally recognized organization that shares our commitment to quality, sustainability, and customers.
We look forward to what’s ahead and will continue sharing updates as SRC of Lexington evolves into Komatsu LRO. Thank you to our employees, partners, and community for being part of this journey.
Komatsu North America has entered into an agreement to acquire assets of SRC of Lexington, Inc., a supplier of remanufactured components and parts for construction and mining equipment based in Lexington, Kentucky, U.S. The deal is scheduled to close at the end of February, subject to customary closing conditions. This move strengthens our ability to provide high-quality, cost-effective reman components and support our customers across the equipment lifecycle.
“This acquisition allows us to deepen our reman capabilities closer to customers, improve responsiveness, and support dealers and end users with high-quality, cost-effective solutions throughout the equipment lifecycle,” said Danny Murtagh, Vice President, Parts and Infrastructure, Komatsu North America.
With demand for remanufactured components growing alongside the region’s expanding equipment base, this acquisition brings a dedicated U.S. reman facility closer to customers, strengthens our local presence and supports sustainable, efficient reuse of components.
