CDI recently joined campus leaders and higher education facilities colleagues at the Arkansas Association of Facilities Administrators conference held at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute. Supporting Arkansas' educational institutions is a cornerstone of our work. To date, CDI has constructed over 6.4 million square feet of higher education facilities across the state.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with facility leaders, discuss the evolving needs of our state's campuses, and spend time with dedicated industry partners and peers.

In 2010, CDI completed 70,000 sq. ft. of phased renovations and expansions at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute enhancing campus amenities with zero downtime for guests. Our team transformed spaces into state-of-the-art classrooms, theaters, expanded dining, updated guestrooms, and an indoor/outdoor barn, along with extensive site infrastructure and gardens. We were honored to stand beside Chancellor Dr. Anthony Graham, Governor Sanders, students, faculty, staff, and project partners at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to cut the ribbon on the Student Engagement Center.

This project started with students who believed in their campus and voted to invest in its future. The new facility brings 77,000 sq. ft. of thoughtful space to students, featuring a bowling alley and gaming lounge, performing arts and event venue, fitness center with group studios, modern student lounges, career services, and a comprehensive health and wellness clinic.

It was an incredible opportunity to serve as the construction manager on this transformative project.

CDI is excited to share that we are leading the Baptist Health Nursing College project! We’re transforming nearly 137,000 square feet, including a full interior renovation and two new additions.

Our team is delivering complete exterior upgrades from envelope enhancements and structural additions to site paving and hardscaping. We look forward to turning this facility into a state-of-the-art home for nursing and allied health students! Stay tuned for more updates.

We were thrilled to stand alongside our parent company, Dillard's, at their Little Rock headquarters as they celebrated moving their primary stock listing to the Texas Stock Exchange complete with a market open bell ringing and a ceremonial cannon firing.

Dillard's becoming the first company outside of Texas to realign both its legal home and primary listing to TXSE is a monumental milestone. As part of the Dillard’s family, CDI is incredibly proud to contribute to a legacy of excellence and success built over generations! 👏 🔔
