In manufacturing, true accountability doesn’t mean everything always goes perfectly.😃👍

It’s about how your partner responds well to challenges. It shows up in a straight answer when a timeline shifts, a process issue flagged before you ever notice it, and support for parts long after they ship.

What real follow-through looks like in practice:

🔹Proactive communication: Whether the news is positive or negative, you hear it from us first, so your team has the information it needs to make informed decisions.

🔹Direct ownership: If an issue falls outside specification, we take immediate corrective action, with no finger-pointing, vendor delays, or excuses.

🔹Measurable delivery: We deliver parts to specification and on schedule, supported by ISO-certified quality systems and process monitoring for consistency.

By consolidating your supplier network, you gain a partner who assumes full responsibility for your product’s success from the start.

Excess inventory costs more than just having parts sitting in boxes.😃👍

It’s also the money stuck in those parts.

Working with faraway offshore suppliers means long lead times, so you have to place big buffer orders. This extra inventory increases storage and insurance costs, raises the risk of parts becoming outdated, and ties up money that could help your company grow.

Traditional long-distance supply chains are slow and costly. At Artemis Plastics, domestic injection molding lets you replace bulk overseas shipments with flexible local production:

🔹Free up working capital: Smaller, more frequent production runs mean you tie up less cash in storage and have more money to grow your business.

🔹Lower carrying costs: Order what you need when you need it, and cut storage, handling, and insurance costs.

🔹Reduced obsolescence risk: A flexible domestic supply chain lets you adjust quickly as designs change, so you don’t have to throw away outdated parts.

🔹Shorter lead times: Local manufacturing takes weeks instead of months, so you can respond to real market demand instead of guessing far in advance.

Why let a distant supplier tie up your money in a warehouse when a domestic partner can keep your supply chain efficient and your cash flow strong?

Many teams are surprised to learn that the most expensive injection molding mistakes happen before you even mold the first part.😃👍

Up to 70% of your total manufacturing cost is decided during the design phase. If you wait until your drawings are "final" to involve your manufacturer, most of those costs are already fixed and much harder to change.

At Artemis Plastics, we prefer to get involved early, when small design changes can still have a big impact on your costs.

Here’s how early collaboration with us helps you:

🔹Lower part cost: We adjust wall thickness, draft, and gating early to reduce cycle time and material waste before tooling is made.

🔹A faster launch: We catch manufacturability issues on the screen, not on the shop floor, so your timeline stays on track.

🔹Smarter tooling: Our in-house team designs molds to fit your production goals, not the other way around.

🔹One team you can always reach: From prototype to production, you work directly with the engineers who know your project.

Get us involved at the sketch stage, not just at the final drawing. You’ll be glad you did. Let’s talk about your next project.

A tight tolerance on a drawing only matters if your manufacturing partner can meet it every time, run after run.😃👍

Making high-precision plastic parts is challenging and costly. If the design, materials, process, or quality checks are off, costs can quickly rise from scrap, rework, and out-of-spec parts in full production.

At Artemis Plastics, we keep tight tolerances by managing all four key factors in-house:

◾Design for tolerancing: We fine-tune part shape, wall thickness, and draft angles early to meet your tolerances before we start tooling.

◾Material & shrink dynamics: With experience in more than 50 engineering resins, we choose materials that shrink predictably to meet your size needs.

◾Tight process control: Our in-house tooling and statistical process control keep molding steady and catch size changes early to avoid scrap.

◾Certified quality systems: Our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications make sure every key measurement is checked and recorded for repeatable accuracy.

Don’t risk your high-precision parts with a manufacturer that handles only part of the process. Work with a team that manages design, materials, process, and quality all together.

Your project’s ROI is set long before the first part is made.😃👍

If you treat manufacturing as just the last step, you've already decided your choices about cost, quality, and timing. Involving your manufacturer early turns those same choices into ways to save money and improve your results.

At Artemis Plastics, we help you get better project returns by combining precise injection molding with engineering services that lower risks from the start:

◾Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM): We work with your engineers early to fine-tune geometry, wall thickness, and resin choices, cutting out extra costs before mold production begins.

◾In-House Tooling & Maintenance: We design, build, and maintain most molds at our own facility. This removes extra markups, speeds up tool testing, and helps protect your investment.

◾Rapid Prototyping: We test part function early with fast prototypes so that we can spot and fix design problems before production.

◾Early teamwork and integrated finishing are not expensive extras. They are important steps that help you get the best return and keep your launch on schedule.

Why see manufacturing as just a final cost, when the right partner can help you get better results from the very first design?

Whether you need a part that fits on your fingertip or a housing that fills both hands, you shouldn’t have to deal with multiple suppliers just because your parts differ in size. 😃👍

Many projects eventually need more than their first supplier can offer. A shop set up for tiny parts can’t make your bigger enclosures, and a large press floor won’t take on your small, precise parts.

This means you end up working with more vendors, which adds qualification steps, more quality checks, and lead-time risk.

At Artemis Plastics, our 19 presses, ranging from 17 to 1,200 tons, let us handle your full range of part sizes with just one supplier.

Here’s how our press range makes your supply chain easier:
◾Full Size Range, One Supplier: We mold everything from delicate, precise parts to large structural pieces, all in one place.

◾The Right Press for Every Part: We match each part to the right machine, using enough force to prevent defects without raising your costs.

◾Room to Grow: If your parts get bigger or you need more, you can keep working with us. There’s no need to find or approve new suppliers.

◾One Quality System for Every Machine: All 19 presses use the same quality controls and ISO certifications, so you get the same high quality no matter the part size.

Why qualify different molders for small and large parts when one facility can handle everything?

A living hinge is a thin, flexible plastic part, usually about 0.010 to 0.015 inches thick, made as one piece with the two rigid sections it joins. 😃👍

This design lets products like flip-top caps, battery doors, and clamshell cases open and close many times without needing a separate pin, spring, or extra assembly.

Why does a living hinge matter?

- Fewer parts, lower cost: The lid, body, and hinge can be molded in one shot, eliminating separate hinge hardware and a downstream assembly operation.

- Material makes or breaks it: Polypropylene is the most common choice for high-cycle living hinges, with polyethylene also used in suitable applications. Their molecular structure can tolerate repeated flexing better than many other plastics, which may crack or fatigue sooner.

- Flow direction is key: When molding, the melted plastic should flow across the hinge, not along it, so the polymer chains align to handle bending. This makes gate placement very important.

A living hinge may look simple, but its performance depends on careful planning of the resin, hinge shape, flow direction, and tool design before molding even starts.

If you buy for medical device or industrial companies, choosing a molder is about more than just the part. 😃👍

You need a supplier who can pass your quality audit and meet your regulatory needs. Without the right certifications, a vendor can quickly become your biggest compliance risk.

At Artemis Plastics, quality is more than a promise. Our certified, independently audited system protects your brand and keeps your program compliant.

Here’s how our quality system helps reduce your risk:

▪ ISO 9001:2015 Certified: Our main quality management system is independently certified to international standards, so you know our process control is real.

▪ ISO 13485:2016 Certified: We meet the strict requirements needed for regulated medical device programs.

▪ FDA 21 CFR 820 Compliant: Our manufacturing follows FDA quality system rules, supporting your submissions and regulatory audits.

Why work with a vendor who can’t pass your quality audit when you can choose one who already meets your standards?
