You’re The Bee’s Knees - Make Your Own Honey Pot Class! 🐝🍯

You won’t BEE-lieve how much fun you’ll have creating your very own honey pot! This sweet class is designed for potters who already have some experience on the wheel and are ready to expand their skills by learning to make a simple lidded piece. Add your personal touch to make it truly buzzworthy!

In This Class, You Will:

Learn to throw a simple lidded form
Throw a lid with a k**b
Create a fl**ge to hold the lid securely
Measure to create a fitted lid
Practice simple trimming techniques
Explore surface design options
Discuss and apply glazing techniques

Make Your Own Planter

Spring into planting season with some handcrafted planters and row markers!

In this class we will build pots for your favorite plants using slabs. Students will learn to use the slab roller and dive into surface design. We will discuss and apply several methods of adding texture to your slab pieces and demonstrate a range of designs. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to make some row markers for the impending garden season!

# Intermediate CAD

This class is a hands-on continuation of our Intro to CAD session, designed for those who want to apply CAD skills to real-world projects using Onshape, a modern cloud-based CAD tool.

The class is almost entirely project-based. Attendees will work through guided examples to create:

• One single-piece part
• One multi-piece part (2+ components)
• One example using image tracing and scaling.

If time allows, we’ll explore additional examples and work through scenarios based on interests and project needs.

This session is ideal for those who want to move beyond the basics and gain confidence using CAD in practical, real-world contexts. We hope to see you there!

In # this introductory 3-session course, you’ll explore the art of creating mosaic tabletops. We will be using glass and ceramics to mosaic a round table top which also acts as a tray.

From selecting diverse substrates to mastering adhesive and grouting techniques, this class will equip you to craft a stunning table that doubles as a tray.

Course Objectives:

Plan and create a custom mosaic tabletop design on a round table

Learn to cut and use glass and ceramics

Learn techniques to ensure a level, functional surface

Learn adhesive, grouting, and finishing techniques for durability and beauty

Intro to the Wheel Bootcamp

New to the wheel or need a refresher? This class is perfect for pottery beginners looking to learn a new skill and create something beautiful! This class will give you all the basic skills needed to get started in the clay studio.

What You’ll Learn:

Working with the Wheel: Get familiar with the potter’s wheel.

Centering Clay: Learn the essential technique of centering your clay.

Throwing a Basic Form: Shape your clay into a foundational form.

Trimming on the Wheel: Refine and clean up your piece.

Glazing: Add the finishing touch by glazing your pottery.
