In support and celebration of our veterans today we wanted to share some content from our recent fundraising event in NYC! At this lovely event hosted by dear friends we had a distinguished panel of speakers including Julia Civardi, Rob Newson, and Dr. Aleksandar Sekulic. We discussed our current collaborative effort with TGen to provide leading-edge precision medicine navigation for Special Operation Forces (SOF’s) in their battle against cancer through comprehensive genomic testing and analysis.
Our SOF community faces extreme physical, mental, and environmental challenges, with increased exposure to hazardous environments that can elevate cancer risk over time. Not only is there a lack of correct and timely diagnoses, there is a lack of studies and clinical trials that follow how these cancers are caused. Through our efforts we will be able to provide the correct testing to SOF’s and publish more data to serve those and the families of those who have served us.
