Last week, K-12 district leadership teams joined us for Screen Time + Green Time, a working session presented with The Metro Bureau.

Led by Senior Education Strategist Chris Stanley, this session focused on diagnosing how districts use technology today and building strategies to balance digital tools with outdoor and offline time. Attendees reviewed a practice district’s technology and decided what to keep, fix, cut, or replace based on real usage and evidence. Then they turned that lens on their own districts, and left with a clear 90-day plan to put it to work.

Construction Inclusion Week is a chance to expand opportunity and growth within the construction industry, and our Boot Camp program is one way we're doing that.

Earlier this year, five participants joined the program. Over six weeks, they worked at active jobsites across Southeast Michigan, joined professional development sessions, and built the hands-on experience to step confidently into a union apprenticeship.

Programs like this open real pathways into the skilled trades and invest in the next generation of builders.
