Zinc that returns from the wellbore doesn't stay there—it can reach refinery processing streams and damage the equipment used to refine crude. TETRA Neptune Z-Lite contains up to 60% less zinc than conventional zinc-based brines, reducing the amount of this regulated constituent used and handled in offshore operations.

Meet Phillip Vincent—Engineering Services Manager with the TETRA Innovation Group (TIG), based in Conroe, Texas. 👋

What Phillip likes the most about working at TETRA is the collaborative culture, where strong relationships and teamwork make it possible to tackle complex challenges while enjoying the journey along the way. He especially values the close-knit environment where innovation and collaboration go hand in hand.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Phillip’s role is the variety of projects he supports. From advancing oil and gas solutions to helping develop new renewable technologies, he enjoys solving diverse engineering challenges that keep every day engaging and meaningful.

A career highlight for Phillip was the first successful deployment of the TETRA Neptune fluid system in the Gulf of America in 2016. Seeing years of research, development, and testing culminate in a successful field application was a proud moment and a testament to the power of innovation. As Phillip shared, “It was extremely fulfilling to see all of the research, development, and validation work pay off and result in a successful use case.” That's ONE TETRA in action: an idea built by a team, proven in the field.

Outside of work, Phillip enjoys board games and video games, reading everything from fantasy and science fiction to mystery novels and comics, and expressing his creativity through music by playing both the guitar and piano.

Thanks for everything you bring to the team, Phillip — here's to ONE TETRA, powered by people like you!

Safety is more than a priority at TETRA—it’s part of who we are.

During Safety Week at our Technology Center, employees came together for a week of learning, teamwork, and friendly competition. From a safety-themed scavenger hunt that challenged teams to identify workplace hazards and solve safety-focused clues, to interactive games, a week-in-review celebration, and well-earned prizes, every activity reinforced the importance of keeping safety at the center of everything we do.

Events like these strengthen our safety culture by encouraging collaboration, engagement, and continuous learning in a fun and meaningful way. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's Safety Week a success.

Because when it comes to safety, we're always stronger together.
