A successful commercial project starts well before construction begins.

Our latest blog covers what owners should have ready before starting a commercial project, including site and property information, equipment requirements, permitting considerations, budget planning and the decisions that can impact schedule and cost later on.

If you’re planning a project in the South Sound, this is a good place to start.

As National Construction Appreciation Week comes to a close, we're taking a moment to recognize the people who make the work happen.

Every project we run, from tenant improvements to healthcare and hospitality work, comes down to the same thing: good people showing up and doing the job right. That's our team, our subcontractors and the trade partners we've built relationships with over years of working together.

Construction takes coordination, problem-solving, skill and hard work. We're grateful for everyone who helps bring a project together and keeps it moving.

Thanks for all you do.

Field verification simply means checking the actual site conditions before moving forward with the work. That can include confirming measurements, existing materials, dimensions and other details that may not match the plans exactly.

Construction Term of the Month: Mobilization

Before construction starts, the jobsite has to be ready. Mobilization is the process of coordinating the crews, equipment, materials, permits, site access, and safety plans needed to get work moving. It may happen before the visible progress begins, but it plays a big role in helping a project start smoothly and safely.
