Promising early results for Kelpak® on Eureka blueberries 🫐

We’re conducting trials on Eureka blueberries in the Klapmuts, Western Cape area, with the aim to enhance fruit set and overall crop performance.

The preliminary results are very encouraging. Where Kelpak was applied at the right time, we’ve seen improved fruit set along with larger fruit.

More results to follow as the trial progresses!

Connecting our seaweed origins with agricultural science 🌱

We were pleased to welcome the Sumifru team to Cape Town to take a closer look at Kelpak’s origins and the science behind our seaweed-based biostimulant.

A tour of our Ecklonia maxima harvesting site along the Cape coast and team engagements created a valuable opportunity to share technical knowledge, exchange insights and strengthen our growth together.

Strengthening connections. Sharing knowledge. Advancing table grape production.

The 11th International Table Grape Symposium in Murcia, Spain, offered the Kelpak team a valuable opportunity to connect with growers, researchers, and technical advisors from across the global table grape industry.

Discussions explored emerging varieties, climate-related challenges and export quality, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and credible field research in addressing growers' evolving needs.

A highlight was Pamela Galleguillos of P&G Agroservicios, who shared research evaluating Kelpak® on Sweet Globe® table grapes under commercial production conditions in Northern Peru. The presentation generated interest and opened up valuable technical discussions with international growers and advisors.

The symposium also provided valuable opportunities to strengthen customer relationships, exchange experiences across production regions, and better understand growers' challenges

By combining field evidence, technical collaboration and close customer relationships, we continue to strengthen our understanding of where Kelpak can deliver value in table grape production.

A new Ohio State Record: 2,513 lbs!

Congratulations to Adam Momirov, whose giant pumpkin set a new Ohio State Record at the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers weigh-off on 10 October 2026.
Adam used Kelpak during his 2026 growing season and finished with two personal bests, including this record-breaker.
As Adam shared with us: “My season was a success, and I believe Kelpak played a role in that.”

🌊There's a forest off the Cape coast that most people will never see.

It's called the Great African Sea Forest, and it's one of the world's remarkable marine ecosystems. Its giant is Ecklonia maxima, the sea bamboo, which grows up to eight metres tall and is found naturally off southern Africa.

This forest captures carbon, shelters marine life and contributes to ocean health. It's also the source of Kelpak.

This National Marine Week, we're celebrating the marine ecosystem at the heart of our story and the importance of protecting it.

A valuable day of technical exchange at Kelpak as we welcomed Vinpro ’s technical team.

We discussed the challenges facing w**e grape producers and shared research data on Kelpak’s role in supporting root development, beneficial soil microbes, fruit set and vine performance under saline and dry conditions.

From field research to commercial value. 🍇
At the 11th International Table Grape Symposium in Murcia, Spain, Pamela Galleguillos of P&G Agroservicios presented research evaluating Kelpak® on Sweet Globe® table grapes under commercial production conditions in Northern Peru.

The study showed positive effects on key commercial and postharvest attributes, including berry size, berry weight, postharvest firmness after cold storage, and shelf life.
A proven and compelling ROI, based on the observed berry-weight difference and commercial production parameters.

Evidence that crop performance is about more than yield - it is about size, quality, postharvest performance and value.
