Did you know that cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among South African women?

Every year, more than 5,700 women are diagnosed, and over 3,000 lose their lives to this preventable disease. The good news is that vaccination, regular screening and early detection can make a life-changing difference.

This HPV Vaccination Month, Patient Focus Africa is committed to making screening more accessible.

💙For the month of August only, enjoy 15% OFF our HPV Rapid URINE Test Kits.

✔ Simple to use
✔ Reliable results
✔ Suitable for home sample collection*
✔ Supporting earlier detection

It's also important to remember that HPV affects both women and men. Men can become infected with HPV and may pass the virus on to their partners, often without showing any symptoms. HPV is also associated with several cancers that can affect men, making awareness and prevention important for everyone.

Let's work together to raise awareness, encourage screening and help protect more lives.

Over the weekend, we had the privilege of hosting our iCan i6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Brunches in Johannesburg and Cape Town, bringing together Diabetes Nurse Educators (DNEs), dietitians and other healthcare professionals for a morning of learning, discussion and connection.
The sessions provided an opportunity to explore the role of Continuous Glucose Monitoring in diabetes management, share clinical insights, and discuss how innovative technology can empower both healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes to make more informed decisions.
A sincere thank you to our guest speakers, Shiara Pillay from Sweetlife Diabetes Communiy and dietician Sunette Swart for sharing your expertise and valuable perspectives. Your contributions helped make the discussions engaging, practical and impactful.
Congratulations to our lucky raffle winners Pamela Jwili and Annette Louw! We hope you enjoy your prizes, and thank you for joining us 🤗 .
To every healthcare professional who attended, asked thoughtful questions, shared your experiences, networked with colleagues and even took the opportunity to wear and experience the iCan i6 CGM firsthand; thank you. Your enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to improving diabetes care are what make events like these so worthwhile.
Finally, thank you to our incredible Patient Focus Africa team and partners for making these simultaneous events a success. We look forward to continuing these conversations as we work together to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes across South Africa.

In healthcare, supply chain reliability is not simply a logistical concern.
When essential products are unavailable, the impact can extend across laboratories, healthcare professionals and ultimately the patients they serve.
Reliable healthcare supply means understanding the bigger picture:
-The urgency behind the order
-The importance of availability
-The people depending on the product
At Patient Focus Africa, our role is to help keep healthcare moving.

We recently received this wonderful message from Debbie, thanking the PFA team for supporting their laboratory in Limpopo.
At Patient Focus Africa, reliable healthcare supply is about more than delivering products. It's about supporting the healthcare professionals, laboratories and patients who rely on them.
Sometimes, going the extra mile means going the extra distance. 🚗
Thank you, Debbie Goldman Dart, for your kind words and for allowing us to share your feedback.

Today, we recognise the people at the heart of patient care: nurses.

The ones who show up every day, often under pressure, making critical decisions, offering reassurance, and ensuring that patients are not just treated, but cared for.

Your role goes far beyond clinical responsibility. You are the constant in moments of uncertainty, the support behind every diagnosis, and the connection between care and compassion.

At Patient Focus Africa, we see the impact of your work every day, and we are proud to support you with solutions designed to make that work just a little easier.

Thank you for the difference you make.

Some stories deserve to be shared 🤍

Mo is a talented local creator who makes beautiful handcrafted soft toys 🧸, each one made with care, purpose, and heart.

This year, we’re proud to support Mo by partnering with him to create our end-of-year gifts. These special toys will be given to our favourite little humans, spreading a little comfort and joy where it’s needed most.

It’s a simple but meaningful way of supporting local talent while also giving back to our community.

Because sometimes, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference 💙
