LH621 centre hitch machined and bushes fitted for a client in the Goldfields.

When work scopes get underway on major rebuilds, waiting on a lineborer can often hold up the job and have a flow-on effect across the entire rebuild timeline.

Promising your client a turnaround time becomes difficult when you’re relying on contractors who can’t deliver when you need them.

The KLB boys have been working around the clock to make sure our clients’ rebuilds stay on track and run to schedule.

KLB prides itself on having an up-to-date fleet and reliable equipment that empowers our team to get the job done efficiently and meet the demands of our clients.

Our unmatched serviceability means when you call KLB, we’re there to back you up.

When you put a commitment on the table to your client, you need a contractor who can deliver.

KLB Engineering — anything less is second best. 👍

Yesterday marked 3 years of KLB Engineering.

What started as a vision to create enough work to get by and, most importantly, work for myself has grown into a small business with a team of highly skilled professionals working across Western Australia for some of the biggest names in the mining industry.

To say I’m proud of what KLB has become is an understatement.

From building the first truck out the front of my house with nothing but a dream, to now operating out of our own workshop in Kalgoorlie and having a team of lineborers and boilermakers servicing the Goldfields and beyond — the growth over the last three years has been something pretty special.

What started with one truck and one bloke has grown into a business with a team, a workshop and a reputation we’re proud of — and we’re only scratching the surface of what KLB can become.

Building a business from the ground up certainly hasn’t come without its challenges, but every challenge has brought a lesson, and every step forward has made the journey worth it.

Being able to build something from nothing, create opportunities for good people and do it all in the place I’m lucky enough to call home has made this the most rewarding part of my working career.

3 years down. And I’m Just getting started.

Thank you to everyone who has supported KLB along the way.

Here’s to bigger goals, bigger opportunities and the next chapter.
