Good engineering needs to work beyond the drawing.

At SBS, practical site understanding helps shape the way we approach design, from accurate 3D scanning and as-built information through to drawings and documentation that reflect real operating conditions.

The goal is simple, give clients information they can actually use to plan, fabricate and build with confidence.

Talk to SBS Engineering about your next project.

From Perth to Nullagine, loaded up and ready for nightshift.

This shutdown started well before the crew reached site, with the LV and trailer prepared, loaded and mobilised from Perth before heading for the job.

A good shutdown is built on preparation, having the right equipment, the right people and everything ready to go when the window opens.

Summer is on the way, and across regional WA, hot conditions can quickly become part of the job.

Good preparation matters.

Planning work around the conditions, staying hydrated, taking appropriate breaks and keeping an eye on your mates all help crews work safely when the temperature climbs.

For SBS, safe work starts with being ready for the conditions before the shift begins.

Not every project needs a new build.

Sometimes the better solution is making the existing asset work for what is needed now.

Our team recently completed modifications to a pair of underground vent doors, adapting the existing setup to suit the required configuration.

It is a good example of the practical, solution-focused work SBS delivers across mining environments.

This National Safe Work Month, the message is simple.

Safe work is for life.

At SBS, that means planning properly, speaking up, looking out for each other and making safety part of every job, every site and every shift.

Because getting the work done matters, and getting everyone home safely matters more.
