What a fantastic cause! Suz joined the team to help distribute sporting equipment for today.

Another fantastic morning spent with the team at helping to ready sports equipment for distribution as part of their Recycle & Donate program!

They're gearing up before the winter sports season starts, and put our team to work sorting, cleaning, and packing donated equipment. When asked how the day went, one Melchor volunteer replied "Really well - very good for the soul".

Fantastic initiative!

Today, some of the Melchor Contracting and Elite Concrete Protection & Repair team took some time from their usual roles to help at the Fair Game headquarters. They sorted, cleaned, and counted donated sports equipment, ready to be distributed to underserved communities in Western Australia.

They came across a pair of footy boots, pictured. The note attached from the young donor reads, "hello my name is Lennix with these boots I kicked my first goal. Hope you do too!"

A short note with a powerful message - meaningful giving can make lasting impact. If you have pre-loved sports equipment in the garage gathering dust, please consider donating it to Fair Game.

Well that’s a wrap for this year. Thank you to our awesome team, clients, suppliers and friends in the Industry. This year has been a huge year with some great projects and a massive move to Osborne Park. Our integration with Melchor Contracting has been an exciting step for us and we are looking forward to what next year brings. I think Phil & I will sit back over the break and reflect maybe even pat ourselves on the back and finally have that bottle of Champagne. Stay safe everyone and enjoy your Christmas with loved ones.

Great project to be involved in!

Dry Spell is over for another year. This was the first year that I joined the challenge to help prevent and raise awareness for su***de in our industry. I chose to give up alcohol for 100 days and take up excerise. Well I’m still playing netball and happy to mention that I’ve managed to remain injury free. There have been some extremely difficult, heartbreaking and emotional times personally during this challenge especially in the last few months and it’s just reinforced how important MATES in Construction WA is for our industry. Meet Hamish McKay, he’s our Project Co-Ordinator and somehow manages to makes things happen and come together for all of our jobs. Hamish worked for Elite back in 2012 and came back to join our team last year. Not only is he flat out during the week but he helps run Pirates Lacrosse club and coaches the little kids as well. On the weekend he won his Grandfinal with the support of his lovely wife Kat. It was a privilege to be able to get down and watch him play. I now understand why he’s called Hammer. He celebrated in true style with soft drinks as he’s still committed to
