Operating under exposure to sanitary sewage conditions, the structure experienced advanced deterioration caused by microbial-induced corrosion (MIC). A common challenge in wastewater facilities that can compromise concrete durability and long-term performance.

To address this challenge, the project team incorporated Xypex Bio-San C500 into the repair concrete system, providing:

✅ Increased resistance against sulfates and sulfuric acid attack
