Earlier this month, we welcomed students from the SEG University of Waterloo Student Chapter to our cobalt refinery site.

It was great to connect with the next generation of geologists and mining professionals and provide a closer look at the final stages of the metal production cycle. As part of their visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about the refining process and the role battery-grade cobalt refining plays in building North America’s critical minerals supply chain.

A huge thank you to our Lead Geoscientist Frank Santaguida and the team on site for sharing their knowledge and helping make the visit a meaningful experience for the students.
