Final flight of doors fitted at this 3 storey property in Mitcheldean recently. Completed the ground and 1st floors to fit in with the customers decorating timings and saved the top deck for last. Back was aching carrying these shaker style oak doors up and down the stairs. But absolutely worth it when the end result looks this good. 🤩

Fitted this staircase a couple of weeks ago in a nearly finished holiday let in Brockweir. The white treads contrast nicely against the oak newel posts and handrail. With the black metal spindles finishing this project off nicely.

Happy New Year to all our customers over the past year! We made a start back at it today getting this door cut down and resized ready for Monday when we go back at it 💪🏽 helping eliminate downtime on site meaning we can focus on getting the doors fitted. Doors are our first job of the year!

These few doors were fitted in a holiday cottage in Aylburton. Complete with smoke and fire intumescent strips along the edges of the doors to seal against the frame once closed.

This staircase balustrading was an accident waiting to happen. And with two young children in this house this needed sorting quickly!
We whipped out the old metalwork and splintering rails. Re secured the existing newels and cladded them square. Installed two new newel posts on the landing. Installed new rails and and infilled with new square spindles. Finished with flat top newels caps. All sanded and left ready decoration.

It’s been a while since we last did a post on the business page. A year and a day to be exact!
Sorry about that! We haven’t gone anywhere- just been super busy in the background on lots on different projects. New kitchens, built in wardrobes, door changes and even the odd garage conversion to name a few of the bits we’ve been involved in.
I’m going to make more of a conscious effort to keep the page updated more regularly. But for now here’s a recent media wall we completed for a customer in Cinderford. Complete with remote unit lighting and a rather cosy electric fireplace sat under a brand new Smart TV

This customer needed a new staircase balustrade as-well… they didn’t have one. And with a little one soon to be running around it was very dangerous without.
We chopped out the old newel stump that had been cut off in the past and replaced with a new oak post to match the existing on the landing. With new rails and spindle infills fitted to both the case and landing this staircase is now much safer to use for both adult and child alike ☺️

Another little door change project for a returning customer in Cinderford. Steadily making our way around the entire house fitting these oak Suffolk style doors. Complete with all new handles and fittings for the finishing touches.
