Raylor's Trail Design & Tuition.

Raylor's Trail Design & Tuition. Mountain bike trail design and tuition based in the North East of Scotland. Trails constructed and lessons tailored to every riders needs.

I’ve been riding mountain bikes for nearly 20 years, and through this time I’ve committed myself to various different aspects of the sport. Whether it be my early memories of creating and tackling daunting obstacles, the progression of my racing up to a world level, making videos, working in the local bike shop or more recently undertaking large track building projects, I feel that all these thing

s have shaped who I am as a rider and as a person. Having gained so much enjoyment through my years of biking, it only seems right to now give something back through both trail building and coaching and hopefully help even more riders feel the flow and get a buzz out of two wheels.

Blue trail “midge” I designed in the summer . An excellent challenge making a trail fun for beginners but also more experienced riders. Combine with “Blue View” trail for a nice long run down the hill.
Thanks very much to Glassie Bunkhouse and the trail crew for having me down. Make sure to keep supporting them all if you ride there. Hopefully more to come from an excellent location for mountain biking in Scotland.

Tried my hand at a wee track preview vid for the first round of the Highland Hardline series at Contin. Sick Skills and Claudio are in no danger, not sure i've quite mastered breathing and chatting yet! A tough wee track. Although not as steep as the likes of Evanton, a combo of fast sections into tricky turns should make for some quality racing.

Been absolutely lovin getting back into the swing of things with coaching again over the last 3 days. Sure glad the the ice has gone. Here's a few clips from Tuesday's session with some of the local lads. Working on braking in steep terrain and building up to squashing drops. Ideal.
