The *Precinct Community Consultation, former Teddington Police Station*
Architecture: WK - recent RIBA London 2026 Award Winners for Park Lane Stables RDA - are flying a kite!
Following the wonderful interest and support for the propsal for the former Teddington Police Station site, we are holding a community consultation for residents of Teddington to help shape the future of this important site.
There will be two drop-in sessions in late September for you to have your say on what you would like to osee on the site, what you think of the proposals so far and what concerns or questions you might have.
Come and have your say - nothing is decided and you are part of the process!

Friday 25th September 2026 - 4.00pm - 8.00pm Sunday 27th September 2026 - 10.00am - 2.00pm

Long weekend vibes! 😎 We hope you have a lovely one.

It’s the little things that make a difference to a family home. It’s easy access to storage. It’s a toy cupboard that can be shut away at the end of the day. It’s family dinners around the table and pancakes on a Sunday morning with kids scrambling on the kitchen worktop.

We loved our end of defects period check - seeing the house transform from project back to family home. We hope they’ll have many years of happiness .. and pancakes here. 😊 💚 🪴

The thoughtfulness with which our gorgeous clients considered every detail was heartening and inspiring. The building has what we call “good bones”; structurally stable, high ceilings and the spaces that were to remain the same had good proportions. And needing to update everything in many ways makes the job easier. There were elements that we tried to save - the entrance hall tiles for example, but they were too damaged and matching ones impossible to find.

So.. a lunge forward into the 21st century for this house with environmental updates that will give it another 100 year lease of life.

The previous owner had lived in this property for a very long time and was a well seasoned traveller and collector of things. Looking after the house was not a priority. It gave our clients the opportunity to give it the love it deserved.

It’s the usual story of awkward additions, a leaky conservatory, a 60’s garage that stepped forward of the main elevation and a lack of insulation. Heating and electrics needed updating. The addition of a small first floor extension added the home working space needed.
