From Iceland’s Natural Resources to Global Resilience and Wellbeing
Preparations are underway for the 6th Iceland Geothermal Conference (IGC 2027), to be held in Harpa, Reykjavík, on 25–27 May 2027. Over the years, IGC has become one of the world’s leading events for knowledge, innovation, and business in geothermal energy.
We are proud to announce HS Orka as the Platinum Partner and main sponsor of IGC 2027. The agreement, signed by Tómas Már Sigurðsson, CEO of HS Orka, and Rósbjörg Jónsdóttir, Managing Director of the Iceland Renewable Energy Cluster (Orkuklasinn), marks a strong commitment to advancing international collaboration and geothermal development as part of global climate and sustainability solutions.
IGC 2027 will highlight geothermal energy’s role in ensuring energy security, driving innovation, and fostering community wellbeing. The conference connects the entire geothermal value chain—from research and technology to industrial applications and societal impact.
HS Orka, a flagship in Iceland’s geothermal production and the core of the Resource Park at Reykjanes, brings invaluable expertise to this partnership.
