At 11 Tukutata Crescent, we combined different cladding materials to create a home that feels both distinctive and well balanced.

Using a mix of cedar, Weathertex, pine weatherboard and brick adds texture, contrast and character to the exterior, while still keeping the overall look cohesive.

Bringing different claddings together successfully is something Maddren is known for. When the combination is carefully considered, it helps a home stand out from the crowd without looking overdone.

❓❓WHY WE DID IT THIS WAY❓❓

At 11 Tukutata Crescent, we used a vertical timber screen at the entrance to create a little more separation between the front door and the dining area.

It adds a strong design feature as you enter the home, but it also gives the dining space more privacy without needing a solid wall.

Because you can still see and get light through the battens, the spaces stay open and connected — just with a little more definition between them.

A simple detail that brings style and practicality together.

At 11 Tukutata Crescent, we designed this large kitchen window to bring more natural light into the heart of the home.

It helps make the kitchen feel brighter and more open, while also creating a stronger connection to the outdoor space.

And as the planting outside grows, the view will keep getting better. Over time, the window will almost become a living picture frame, with the landscaping becoming part of the interior experience.

A simple feature, but one that adds light, warmth and interest to the space every day.

And this one is BIG — 503m² of future home taking shape.

Just look at the people on site — especially the person at the back! 😄 They look tiny against this massive slab, which really puts the scale of this home into perspective.
