Having played for Rangiuru for several seasons and never missing a year, Seth's love for the game shines through both on and off the field.

From the moment he arrived at the game, Seth embraced every minute of the experience, creating memories he'll never forget.

Taking the roof out of the work truck. Learning the dos and don'ts of portaloos. Early starts. Long days.
Not every day in the trades is glamorous, but ask Sophie and Mia if they'd do it all again and the answer is a definite yes.
Mia wanted a career that was hands on and practical. Sophie always knew she wanted to get into a trade. Now both are building skills, confidence, and careers they're proud of.
As their boss Bobbie says, they take real pride in their work and are a huge asset to the team.
And if there's one thing they want other young women to know, it's this: don't be afraid to give it a go. 👷‍♀️💙

A day he'll never forget. 🏉💙💛

As part of our partnership with the Bay of Plenty Rugby Steamers and More FM Bay of Plenty, 7 year old Ihaia from Rotorua was our latest "Steamer for a Day" winnerat Saturday's clash against Taranaki last weekend.

From meeting the players and collecting signatures to stepping onto the field, it was an experience every young rugby fan dreams of!

Here's what Ihaia's mum Nicole had to say:

"Ihaia had the best time on Saturday night. It was such a special experience and he had an absolute blast. His favourite part was being on the field with the players getting signatures and photos."
And perhaps the biggest sign of all that he loved it...

"No word of a lie, his shirt only came off him yesterday morning because he had to get into his school uniform!" 😂

Not every success story starts the same way.

For Sophie (19) and Mia (21), it started with hard hats, early mornings, muddy boots, and a willingness to try something different.

Today, they're building rewarding careers in plumbing, working on Generation Homes sites across Auckland and helping create homes for Kiwi families.

Supported by Bobbie and the team at Laser Plumbing East Tamaki, they're proving that the trades can offer exciting opportunities, real-world skills, and a career to be proud of.
