10,000 lineal metres of sealant. 12 months. One very well-prepared crew ✅

We’re kicking off a massive sealant replacement project, so we had our Sika rep in to give the team a refresher, and to show our newer guys the ropes on prep, application and finishing.

Good sealant work is all in the details and we’re here to ensure every metre is done right!

Keep your eyes peeled to see the team put these skills into action 👀

Introducing Hamish, our new General Manager

Today is Hamish’s first day at Altitude. As the company has grown, we knew it was time to bring on someone who’s managed a business and a team at scale, and Hamish brings exactly that experience.

He’s been helping out behind the scenes since April, and now we need him full time.

Hamish and his partner are packing up their life in Auckland to move back home to Wellington, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.

Welcome to the best company in the world.

This week we’ve been helping our friends at SignBiz give our local Pak’nSave the signage spruce-up it needed.

Jone has just passed his IRATA Level 3 rope access qualification, the highest level in the industry.

We’ve known Jone for over 10 years now. We started our careers at the same company, and it’s been great reconnecting again at Altitude. Since joining, he’s brought nothing but solid knowledge, experience, and value to the team.

Level 3 isn’t easy. It takes years of experience, thousands of hours on the ropes, and a tough assessment to get through. A big part of it is being able to lead, communicate clearly, and direct rescues, guiding less experienced technicians to safely recover someone in a range of scenarios.

Congratulations Jone, you’ve earnt it.
