What a way to close an unforgettable week. 🌊

Our final day at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge was one to remember. For the first time, São Gabriel 01 competed in the Endurance Race, where we scored our first points in the competition.

More than the results, we’re incredibly proud of the team spirit we showed throughout the week. Every challenge strengthened our unity, resilience, and determination, values that truly define Técnico Solar Boat.

As if that wasn’t enough, the perfect ending came with winning the Communication Prize. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this achievement possible! 🏆⚡️

We would also like to thank all the teams we had the privilege of competing alongside. More than competitors, you became friends throughout this incredible experience. It was a pleasure to share this week with you, and we leave Monaco having learned so much from one another. 🤝🏻

A special thank you to the MEBC 2026 and the Yacht Club de Monaco for organizing such an inspiring event once again. We can’t wait to be back next year, stronger than ever.

What a way to close an unforgettable week. 🌊

Our final day at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge was one to remember. For the first time, São Gabriel 01 competed in the Endurance Race, where we scored our first points in the competition.

The past few days have challenged us with unexpected issues, but they also showed what this team is made of. Through unity, perseverance, and teamwork, we kept pushing forward and never gave up.

After overcoming these challenges, we successfully completed the manoeuvrability test, meaning we are ready and able to compete on day 4 of the competition.

A huge shoutout to all the teams who supported us along the way, especially TU Delft Hydro Motion Team , Swiss Solar Boat and FEUP Academic Solar Team , as well as the entire MEBC 2026 crew for their help and encouragement.

Finally, a big thank you to all of our sponsors who believed in our vision, our work, and our journey. None of this would be possible without them.

After Tuesdays’s Opening Ceremony, yesterday was our first real test of resilience.

Day 2 brought a number of unexpected challenges, requiring the team to adapt quickly, stay focused, and work closely together. Engineering is rarely a straight path, and moments like these remind us that progress comes from collaboration, problem-solving, and perseverance.

While we’re continuing to work on solutions, we’re proud of the way the team has responded, supporting one another, staying determined, and pushing forward together. 🚤🌊

The first days of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge reminded us that engineering is about so much more than technology, it’s about the people behind it.

Between technical inspections, final adjustments, and our first sea trials, every moment was driven by teamwork, resilience, and a shared commitment to overcoming challenges together.

This is only the beginning of the competition, and we’re proud to represent our team, our university, and everyone who has supported us along the way. 🚤🌊
