🚨 16 NEW CAMP SESSIONS JUST ADDED! 🚨

Due to incredible demand, we've expanded our summer camp lineup with 16 additional camp sessions—including two brand-new camps making their debut this summer and the return of a fan favorite!

🌟 NEW! What's in the Night Sky? (Grades 1–3) 🌟

Calling all future astronauts, scientists, and stargazers! This brand-new camp takes students on an exciting journey through space as they explore stars, constellations, planets, comets, rockets, astronauts, satellites, and more.

Through hands-on projects, campers will create constellation viewers, moon phase models, mini galaxy jars, solar system projects, rockets, and even their own comets and satellites. They'll investigate real astronomy images, ask big questions about the universe, and learn how humans explore space from Earth and beyond.

🚀 The week culminates in a Space Exploration Museum, where students create exhibits showcasing everything they've discovered and share them with their families!

🦗 NEW! Animal Kingdom Explorers: Dissect & Discover! (Grades 3–5) 🐍

Also making its debut this year, Animal Kingdom Explorers gives students the chance to become real-life biologists as they investigate the incredible diversity of the animal kingdom.

From crawfish and grasshoppers to snakes, birds, and mammals, campers will discover how different animals are built, how they survive, and the amazing adaptations that make them unique. Through guided dissections and hands-on investigations, students will explore muscles, organs, and body systems up close while learning how scientists study living things.

🔬 It's messy, fascinating, unforgettable, and perfect for curious kids who want to go beyond the textbook and experience biology firsthand.

💦 WATER WARS IS BACK! 💦

One of our most requested camps has returned!

Get ready to cool off this summer by building air-powered supersoakers, water balloon launchers, water rockets, and other high-powered water gadgets. Campers will learn engineering concepts like pressure, fluid flow, and design while putting their creations to the test in the ultimate water-filled adventure.

🔧 Build it. Test it. Launch it. Get soaked.

➕ We've also added new sessions of:
🔨 Forging Basics
⚒️ Forging Knives & Tools
🔥 Forging & Metal Work
🎮 Minecraft MCreator
🧪 Chemistry II

📅 All of these newly added camps are open for registration NOW!

Many of these programs have already proven to be extremely popular, and spots are expected to fill quickly. If there was a camp you wanted that was previously full—or if one of these new opportunities catches your eye—now is the time to register!

What happens when science, storytelling, and performance collide?
The Newton’s Attic Science Show!

In this exciting STEM-based class, students will create, rehearse, film, edit, and perform their own fast-paced science segments while exploring topics like:
🧲 Magnetism
🌎 Biodiversity
☁️ Weather
🧪 States of Matter

Campers will work together to produce an original episode of The Newton’s Attic Science Show and celebrate with an exclusive premiere at the end of the week!

This unique class was created and is taught by Amy Mayer — a retired Montessori-trained educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience and a lifelong background in theatre and performance.

Amy holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Miami University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Cincinnati. She also studied theatre and dance through UC’s College-Conservatory of Music preparatory program and continues performing today with Studio Players in Lexington.

A beloved Newton’s Attic instructor and former Sayre School teacher, Amy brings together science, creativity, storytelling, and performance in a way that keeps students engaged, confident, and excited to learn.

🚀 DESIGN IT. CUT IT. BUILD IT.

What if your child could learn engineering from a real engineer using real industrial tools?

In this incredible hands-on experience, students will work directly with Newton’s Attic founder and professional engineer Bill Cloyd to learn how ideas move from concept to reality. Campers will create digital CAD designs and then bring them to life using a powerful waterjet cutter — the same type of technology used in modern manufacturing and engineering industries.

Students will design and create projects using materials like:
🪵 Wood
🪟 Glass
⚙️ Steel
🪨 Granite

Possible projects include:
✨ Custom glass ornaments
🛏 Layered bedroom signs
🌳 Yard signs
🔥 Fire pits
💡 Light-up signs
🪑 Furniture and more!

Along the way, students will gain real-world engineering and maker skills including:
📐 CAD (Computer-Aided Design)
📏 Precision measurement
🧠 Design thinking
⚙️ Material behavior and engineering
🔩 Layout, tolerances, and fabrication

This is far more than a craft class — it’s an authentic engineering lab experience where students think, design, and build like real engineers.

For the base tuition, campers can create small-medium personalized projects. Larger specialty builds may require additional material costs, and families will always be contacted for approval beforehand.

If your child loves building, designing, creating, or engineering, this is an opportunity unlike anything else this summer.

Bill is instructing this class the first week of summer camp: June 8 and the last week of summer camp: August 3. THERE ARE SPOTS AVAILABLE!!!
