Things are looking a little spooky out in the field this Halloween! 👻⛏️

From ghosts on the drill pad to a werewolf breaking rock, our crew is getting into the spirit. Even the undead know a hard hat belongs on the job!

Wishing all our friends, families, clients, and fellow field crews a safe and happy Halloween from everyone at Yukuskokon Professional Services 🎃

A drill pad is more than timber. Terrain, loads, access and the crew using it all shape how it should be built.

Yukuskokon Professional Services supports drill pads, heli landing areas, waterlines and drill moves in Alaska. Field crews: what do you look at first on a new pad site?

Behind every great team is someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

Happy Boss's Day to our founder and fearless leader, Bill!

Since founding Yukuskokon Professional Services in 2009, Bill has spent the past 17 years building more than a business. He's built a team, lasting relationships, and a reputation rooted in hard work, integrity, and doing things the right way.

From remote exploration sites to complex projects across Alaska, Bill has never been one to lead solely from behind a desk. He understands the challenges because he's been out there doing the work, solving problems, and helping others succeed.

His leadership has helped shape YKPS into the company it is today, offering a wide range of professional services while never losing sight of what matters most: the people behind every project.

And while we may call him our fearless leader, we know that good leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about showing up, listening, making the tough decisions, and setting an example worth following.

Happy Boss's Day, Bill! Here's to continuing to build something we can all be proud of.

Pride. Integrity. High Standards.

Before a drill turns, a lot has already happened. Someone had to plan the program, get the permits, work out how everything and everyone gets there, and build a pad to set up on. Drilling is one piece of the job, and usually the most visible one.

The planning behind it is where a lot of projects are won or lost. Learn more about what we do at www.yukuskokon.com.

A permit changes the schedule. A pad affects the rig. Camp and logistics affect the crew. On an Alaska project, the pieces are connected.

Yukuskokon Professional Services works across drilling, drill support, core processing, water wells, engineering, permitting, project management, camp services, bear guards, helicopter logistics and rural workforce needs.

Some projects are easy to get to. Alaska has plenty that aren’t.

Remote locations, changing weather, complicated logistics, and challenging terrain are all part of working here. Yukuskokon Professional Services has been doing it since 2009, and that experience has taught us the value of having people who understand both the project and the realities of the field.

From geological consulting and project management to environmental support, field logistics, technical staffing, drill pad construction, and drilling support, our team brings practical experience to every job.

We don’t just understand Alaska projects on paper. We’ve worked them.

The drill pad didn’t build itself. Somebody shoveled the snow, hauled the lumber, rigged the load, and kept at it when the weather had other plans. Behind every project are people with worn gloves, muddy boots, and a whole lot of skill that deserves more credit. This Labor Day, here’s to the crews doing the work day in and day out. Happy Labor Day from YKPS.
