Usually, we are building walls, but let’s break one today instead.

At Bluestem Remodeling, we believe that everyone deserves a home where they can thrive and be themselves. But the world is not always what we want it to be, and for many people, that reality looks very different.

65 countries still criminalize consensual same-sex relationships.

7 countries still retain the death penalty as the legally prescribed punishment for these acts.

Only 38 countries and regions have legalized same-sex marriage out of 193 UN member states.

While we cannot help everyone facing these realities, we want to share these numbers as a reminder of why Pride month remains so important not only as a reason for celebration but also for action and change for better.
